I was thinking about buying a ruger or a marlin or savage and need some help?

If I buy powderless 22lr rounds will It damage my fireing pin mechanism or something inside? I want to use this ammo to use in my yard. 22lr round called colibri aguilar and fires the lead bullet at only 500 fps|||Super Colibri won't damage anything in your gun, but it was made for handgun use.

Aguila states that it is possible for this ammo to stick in the barrel of a rifle. If you get a bad primer, this could happen...

I, personally, would still use it. (A lawyer would not like this! Do not sue me for this statement!) Just make dam sure that every bullet actually exits the barrel before you fire the next. (Watch for bullet impact and listen for a weak bang.)

If a bullet lodges in the barrel, and you fire again, Kaboom!

You will have to cycle this ammo by hand in an auto.|||No. The firing pin shouldn't suffer stress or damage.

My concern with firing low-power or reduced power .22LR cartridges is the risk of having a bullet become stuck inside the rifle barrel.

Once a bullet becomes stuck inside a barrel, firing another cartridge could cause damage to the rifle and serious bodily harm to the rifle shooter and any bystanders.|||Super Colibri rounds won't damage the gun, though they may get stuck in the barrel of a rifle. Aquilla puts a warning on the box that those rounds are only intended for use in pistols. A better option for quiet plinking with a .22 rifle would be CCI's .22 CB Longs. They're a bit more powerful, but not really any louder. And they definitely won't get stuck in the barrel of a rifle.|||Probably no damage. Definitely will not cycle an autoloader. Might jam in a dirty and/or long barrel, next shot could be a problem if something is jammed in the barrel. I would choose a short barrel bolt action with great care. Mossberg Plinkster 802 with 18" barrel is something I'd consider. Cheap rifle. OK quality.|||It will cause no damage at all, but you should clean the chamber after use as it will contain soot and possibly lead that could cause a regular 22 case to stick in the gun. These little rounds are great fun to use.|||You best be absolutely certain about discharging a firearm within the limits of your town. I'm no angel, but I've never been busted. Subsonic rounds from Aguila are fine to shoot, but probably will not cycle the action on semi-auto.|||No. But it probably won't cycle in semi-auto's
