Is 45psi uncommon for butane fuel?(Colibri lighter question)?
I own a Colibri Morpheus II lighter. When I first received it it was already filled and worked fine. Since I already owned some premium zippo butane after it ran out of fuel the first time I filled it with that. For some reason it would spit out too much butane to light even on the lowest setting. I know this because if you light it from a separate source(another lighter) the flame was HUGE. I just bought some lucienne quad refined butane today in hopes that it would work fine. It does the same exact thing! I ask the question above because I believe the colibri site says to use 45psi premium butane in their lighters. Otherwise I have no clue why this lighter is so picky about premium butane. If anyone knows a good solution to my problem please share since I'm sick of having a useless expensive lighter.|||The Colibri site I found on the internet warns about overfilling the lighter and gives a procedure to insure the it is not over filled by bleeding off the excess. Take a look at other available sites on the internet.
