What is the best cigar lighter?

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and he has mentioned that he would like a Colibri lighter. I don't know much about any of that, other than I should get a butane lighter... Apparently some lighters have the cutter thing built in as well as other accessories right there on it, so what is the best one?|||I smoke cigars and have a Colibri. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THOSE. They break easily and the company recently went out of business. To be honest Ronson Jet Lites are the best bang for your buck and usually walmart has them or you can find them online for cheap. Another good brand is Blazer. You wont taste the butane only lighter fluid from say a zippo.

Matches are alright if your inside but for outside smoking matches can be hard to use and if he needs to touch up an uneven burn a torch will be best|||the best lighter of the world is maruman Halley although they make no longer it, I had one by but of 10 years and was wonderful, colibri is the worse one, I recommend honest for which want an economic and reliable lighter

|||Bullitt is wrong about tasting butane - it burns cleanly.

Colibri is notorious for having issues but they seemed to have resolved that over the last couple of years. The bad thing is that Colibri has shut their doors so if you do have a problem with a lighter, you have no one to send it back to anymore.

Prometheus and Xikar makes some nice lighters|||I've got a Nibo lighter and I really like it. Just make sure he adjusts the flame height when he first uses it. Mine was set on max and it burned up all of the butane inside after only a few cigars. You can also get him some butane refill cans.|||You can't go wrong with the Ronson Jetlite from wal-mart i have 2 and haven't had any problems.....and they're only 3 or 4 bucks!|||well if he is atrue flavor taster the buy him matches wooden .thats the best way to light it because other wise you taste the butane.use wooden matches allow sulfer to burn offt he enjoy the nic.
