I need a way that can pinpoint my wifes location through her mobile phone. It doesnt need to be pinpoint accuracy a few hundred meters would do. I would prefer it to be on a pay by use (no contract) as I only need it for a few weeks and it must work in the Geelong area of Victoria.|||I am in Geelong area!!! Everyone else on here seems to be from USA!!
Telstra phones that have the use of internet mean you can find out exactly where you are even down to the very street from your phone but as for tracking someone elses phone i dont think its possible on a standard phone especially not a prepaid one like you are after, when i worked at Telstra not long ago they never really had a system where you could track someone from your mobile!! Cant think of any other way even from another carrier, maybe the best thing to do is ring a carrier but i doubt u'll get much help if its only for a few weeks from a prepaid phone.
You can go to www.amplified.com.au and read up on GPS tracking devices but they are for vehicles not mobile phones and i say the cost would be to much for just a few weeks.|||there are some networks who offer GPS through cell phones. you should contact your network ask if they have those services.
