Can you connect a laptop to the internet by using the mobile phone network?

You can connect via a wireless router but is there a network adaptor that can be used with the mobile phone network eliminating the wired phone line.|||Yes, you can. A mobile phone connected to a PC via data cable, infra red, or Bluetooth, can act like a dial-up modem, assuming it has data connection capabilities (any phone with WAP should do). You can use CDMA or GPRS mobile networks for this connection, and you can get anywhere from 80kbps or more. 3G phones/networks can also be used, and provide much higher bandwidth.

Go to your phone manufacturer's website and download their PC application suite, which should include modem drivers and probably a connection tool.

Be careful, as data downloads through a phone are charged at a much higher rate than any internet plan you might pay for.|||yeah....contact your local cell phone provider|||Yes u can.................. but i dont think speed is satisfactory........ but i dont know ur requirment..... above of then speed is depend on your mobile service provider|||you can connect via bluetooth element in laptop to your mobile so long as your provider provides your phone with internet facilities|||you just need 3G network to connect and a datacard..|||try with the data cable ...|||yes but you need a 3g data card from either orange or vodafone|||here is the solution
