How do I turn on the Telstra F850 Mobile Phone?

I feel like a real dummy but I have just receive my new mobile phone and I can't find a key similar that is pictured in the user manual to turn the phone on, any suggestions? I have charged the battery and tried most of the keys on the keyboard but nothing seems to be working.|||Its usualy the "end" key...
