How can i text a mobile phone in the uk without a cell phone?
i live in Canada and i want to text my parents cell phone. In canada we can go online and text people- what website can i use to text a british mobile?|||My AIM lets me text anyone for free maybe try that?

Once downloaded, what do I do?|||Are you using verizon..with verizon it's simple just go to your mail and click on IM and sign in and go from there click on preferences inside the messenger and it gives you all the prompts

How can I remove scratches from my mobile phone screen.?
I have just bought a really nice second hand mobile phone but the screen is covered in scratches. Is there an easy way for me to remove them. Possibly a household product that could work?|||Try T cut or maybe autosol. Any light abbrasive cleaner. Then polish it up after!|||Buy a new face.|||they are scratches not dirt... The only way is to change the3 screen. unless you have magical plastic fixing devices|||Small ammount of alcahol. Nail polish remover both work. The best thing that worked on my Nokia 8801 was Watch / Jewlery cleaner. Only get the screen wet. If the battery or phone numbers get any of these liquids, your phone is done.|||I don't know of any product's that could help to remove scratches, if you stay near Glasgow then there is a good phone shop in The Savoy Centre that doe's loads of different covers and protection screens for them. Go to your local phone shop and they might be able to help you.|||if you want to clean scratches off your cell phone screen you have to you put a little bit alcohol on a tissue and gently wipe the screen off and dry it off with a nother tissue.|||sorry to break this to you, but there is no effective way to do this

How to change the logo in the Sony Ericsson W700i Mobile Phone?
I have the Vodafone Logo in my mobile phone and I want to change Hutch into Vodafone. This easily happens in Nokia mobile phones, when we SMS VODAFONE to 56565|||It's difficult to understand what your problem is, do you want to get rid of the Vodafone logo and replace it with the Hutch?
If this is what you want to do, then contact Hutch and they will send you the logo.
However if your phone has Vodafone firmware then this is different, you will have to replace the Vodafone firmware. To do this you will have to download some software called, Kulan Kendi. This will replace the Vodafone firmware with the Sony Ericsson orginal formware with the Vodafone stuff.
When you do this, be very careful follow the instructions very carefully.

How to get water out of cell/mobile phone?
I dropped my mobile phone in the toilet (dont worry I already flushed). Its a Nokia N73. Now it has stopped working and the camera light wont switch off. I have taken the battery out to air it but is there anything else I can do to fix it myself?

You can have some technicians try fix it but you will end up wasting money and time so just buy a replacement.|||I've heard of people blow drying it. But I dunno how to detach the front cover.|||Dry putting it in the middle of a bowl full of dry rice. It worked for me!

I dont see any wireless transmission interference happening because this also happens when I get a call on landline.|||your laptop may be picking up em from those devices. Try getting your laptop near the TV and a few other devices and see if the same thing happens... your laptop might not be protected very well from outside em... no worries

my phone is a slivr L7|||What you will want to do is get settings sent to your phone to configure it to t-mobile network settings. unfortunatly you'll have to call customer care for that. just tell t-mobile customer care that you want the "DOTAC settings" sent to your phone. make sure you have another phone available as you'll have to get settings sent to it. some reps can be pretty dumb so just call back if you get a bad response :)

i have been looking into getting a contract phone and have found a deal that suits me on tesco mobile phone website. As part of the deal i get a free gift, but u need to show two forms of i.d. As you said you do need 2 forms of ID.
The first being an address proof. The better ones to use are:
* UK Photocard Driving Licence
* Recent Bank STATEMENT (not a letter)
* Recent Gas/Water/Electric/Phone bill
* Recent Mobile Phone Bill (but NOT if its for the network you are taking out the contract with)
By recent I mean less than 3 months old.
The second being a signature proof:
* Debit or Credit card (except Solo or Electron)
* Passport ( must be in date and not almost 3 months before its out of date)
* UK Photocard Driving Licence (note you can NOT use this if you are using as an address proof)
If you live near a Tesco and that particular store has a Telecoms Centre/Phone Shop then you would be better to take it out there. The Tesco Phone shops can actually match or sometimes even BETTER what is on the website and alot of stores have the phones in stock, but if not they come in the very next day. Plus you have the free aftercare service where we help you if you have any problems throughout the life of your contract, where as if you buy from the internet the phone shops do not want to know.
